May Day Twenty-Nine....
a gift at 8am....
Trey wrote a thank you card to his teacher and it was so cute!!

I love Tuesdays when Trey is at school all day and I get to have special Iree time....she was a bit tough today....really really tired....so I actually was reading to her at this time and it was nice to put her down a bit earlier than normal!!

Tonight we looked through our pics and videos together as a family from the past few months. Emphasizing all Trey's school stuff, because he is almost done with Kindergarten.....crazy!

Monday's are usually our sabbath family day and it was still today, but we did plan to plant today! I found joy in planting my garden. I found joy in my run....thank you for a healthy body. I found joy in the rhythm of our daily activities today!

May Day Twenty-Six...
a gift worn...
My bracelet from my mom that reminds me to be kind and have peace.

The white pavement on my run tonight that was MUCH needed!!!
The ball that I played catch with Trey, even though he had a horrible attitude the whole time.....it was nice to be outside with the whole family just relaxing.

Trey's prayer was so sweet tonight. He said something to the affect of...."Dear God, Thank you that I am an awesome boy and I pray for Mom and Dad and Iree and I that we can be an awesome family and love each other!"

May Day Twenty...
a gift sweet....
Iree was SO excited about her birthday tomorrow and it was so sweet!
a gift sour....
Trey opened a bag of veggie chips in a horrible way....and was carrying them around and I was so frustrated and mad and just KNEW they were going to spill and they DID!! (I always have self fulfilling prophecies) Anyways, after they spilled I got really upset, but then Dale got down on the floor and said, "Come on, let's help mom pick these up!" And I realized, how dumb I was for getting so mad and then the whole family picked them up together and it was a really great family moment.

May Day Eighteen...
3 gifts unexpected....
I was reading about how we should meander through our lives, so that we can be fully present.....so today I really tried not to be rushed and it was awesome!! When I rode my bike with Trey to school, he totally was going back and forth and at first I was going to say to hurry up but then I let him be and it was so great. Also, with Iree she takes forever on her bike and I am always harping on her, but today I let her literally stop and smell the flowers....or pick up rocks. I got to go to dinner with my BFF tonight and on the drive, I just soaked in the GORGEOUS mountain view....there was a storm and the foothills had sun shining down on just them and they were bright green and there was lightening flashes that you could see clear as day!!! So, I enjoyed my music all by myself and then I turned the music off for a little bit to hear the rolling thunder!!

May Day Twenty-two...
3 gifts that made you laugh...
Iree had such a little personality today from pretending to play vacation with Trey to singing into the microphone with some major gusto....she totally made me laugh and smile a lot today.
Trey was trying to fall asleep and I heard him get up and go potty and then I heard him get up again....so I angrily said, "Trey GO TO SLEEP!" He said, "Mom, I just had to wash the booger off my hand!" LOL!

May Day Twenty-one....

Well, today was Iree's 3rd birthday....so there was lots of little blessings. Her laughter is such a gift!! She was amazing at the doctors office!! She was so happy about being three years old and going to Chuck E Cheese, that she was telling anyone and everyone! Then right before we went to Chuck E Cheese, we stopped to get her a balloon and she didn't want a big one...."Because it's going to pop, Mommy!" So we got a small little one. Then we met our family and a couple friends at Chuck E Cheese and the kids had a BLAST....and so did the adults!!!!
