Just Trey and I got to run to the mall and the frames in Crate and Barrel reminded me of how lucky I was to have special Trey time!


I put a new picture in a frame of Trey and Dale....my favorite....

While Iree was sliding down the little froggy slide at the pool....it framed her sweet little excited face!!

It was difficult to miss out on the VBS festivities (because Trey was sick), but I got to do Zumba!!!

This morning when Iree woke up, I sat on the stairs and held her and the sunlight shone on us through our skylight, but the leaves from the trees were waving through it.....and I breathed in deep and prayed for our day and thanked God for another day and for my amazing daughter!

June Day Twenty...

This morning one of the helpers had the kids stretch and had us touch our toes and as I was bending over, I thanked the Lord for my healthy body!

One of the ladies that I am working with at VBS has a child with Down Syndrome, and she is the most patient and loving with him and so positive, it is beautiful to watch!


Also, Trey remembered everything he learned today at VBS and hearing him tell daddy about how the science related the Jesus story.....was so beautiful!!

Iree was exceptionally cute today with everything she was saying and we were pretending to pick seashells (grass) at the seashore and then she had to take her bike to the "bike shop"!!  I love that girl!!

Well, today we went to VBS totally last minute and I offered to help in anyway that I could.  I was put in charge of before/after care for the kids of the volunteers, but then I was place in science and then asked to be there all week!  It was AWESOME!!! 

I became a gift to the VBS staff and volunteers!

Today I spent all day with just the kids and had very little adult conversation....

Trey was making a silly rhyme with his name in the car.....

Iree kept saying at random times, "Mommy, I love you!"

It was the first day of summer for us, so we had a slow morning this morning, which is always nice....
we cut out an African Tribal Mask.....
then we went to a party and swam and played with orange pool toys...
then for dinner we went to a Japanese restaurant (MY FAVORITE) and had the amazing orange ginger dressing on my salad!!!
