Dale and I had a visioning time this morning at our B&B of a marriage retreat and having it there and what it would look like!!!

March Day Thirty....

3 gifts uncovered....

Dale and I had some amazing alone time.....a good 24 HOURS!!! We stayed at an awesome little Bed and Breakfast. We had an amazing time in Downtown Denver and there were so many adventures tonight. I have to share them all....they were all little joys. We were walking to get Starbucks and a mans bumper fell off his car right in front of us....so we tried to help him out! Then while we were in Starbucks an Amnesty International protest was going on with hundreds of people fighting for Immigrant Rights!! Then we went back to our B&B and had wine and appetizers. Then we got dressed up and walked all the way down 16th st. mall and went to an amazing little taco bistro called Margs. And while we were walking back, we tried to help this really drunk girl and her boyfriend. It was an amazing night of adventure and GREAT conversation with my LOVE!!!

I don't know how these are redeemed.....but we got to go up to an amazing Lodge some friends gave us and we had amazing family time together!!






The only thing redeeming this little town of Central City is the old buildings!

It was a joy to write down our meal/shopping list for our vacation tomorrow! Thanks to our wonderful friends we get to stay in a cabin for free....such a blessing!

We got to go have brunch at Dale's Grandpa Fredrickson's house today....so the kids Great Grandpa Fredrickson. And Dale was reminiscing about the clocks that his dad and Grandpa used to make, so Grandpa got one out and they fixed it together....it was a really sweet moment. The wood is painted...with some kind of shellacker! :)

Dale spoke this morning at church and talked about his life story and why the Church has changed his life!!! It brings me joy when he speaks!! He is so great at it!!!

The kids and I went with my great friend Becca and her two boys on the Light-rail today. We stopped and had a picnic and played in the amazing warm sunshine! It was such a joy to be able to talk to a great friend!




Also, my friend Corrie Brockman HOOKED US UP BIG TIME for our vacation this next week. She is letting us use a family house in Central City in the mountains!!!! YAY!! So thankful for friends with generous spirits!!! And another women from our church blessed us with a car to get up the mountain!!

3 gifts that made you laugh.....

I was horribly sick today and this morning I barely had it in me to get the kids up and fed. But while they were eating at the kitchen table and I was laying on the couch, I heard them laughing and talking and having a good time together. Then Iree says,
"Pray Bro Bro Pray!" So they prayed together and it was adorable!! Then Iree kept saying, "I'm texting my girlfriend....I'm texting my girlfriend." in a silly little voice. So silly....i was chuckling. And the third thing that made me laugh was watching some clips from the Ellen Show....hilarious!

We went to the Children's Museum today for a friend of Grandma Claire's, Kaden, who turned 3 years old today. We had such a great time at the museum!!! Turning the wheel on the fire truck, turning a screwdriver to make a pontoon boat, turning plain hats into fancy one's, turning shopping carts, and turning soap into bubbles!

I got to light my newly hung sconce for our wonderful guests tonight. It was such a pleasure to have Jim and Shelia Estes, and Scott, Karen, Alyx, and Wyatt over for dinner!!!! (Good friends from Rifle)
